As an Optometrist it is important to be aware of the different types of strabismus present, as well as their causes and management. The aim of this article is to provide clear information that will enable Optometrists to have the confidence to detect, diagnose and manage binocular vision patients effectively. The aim of this article is to help improve knowledge and increase confidence in deciding how to investigate and correctly manage patients with binocular vision defects and concomitant deviations.
