Perceptive and Visionstryt are committed to respecting your privacy. In general, you can visit visionstrytcdp.co.za without revealing any personal information.
Our website maintains a database of all its customers and registered users. This includes your name, professional number, address, phone number and email address.
Opting in/out of communication
By registering with this site or providing your email address you give permission for us to contact you directly regarding your booking, subscription or purchase. For example, to send you an email confirming your registration or to update you about changes to an order you placed.
When you register you will be asked if you wish to receive relevant information about products and services from Visionstryt and if you wish to receive relevant marketing information from third parties. You can choose to unsubscribe from these newsletters and email campaigns by amending your communication preferences in the My Account section of this website or by clicking the unsubscribe link in one of our emails.
How is my data transmitted?
All data sent between your internet browser and our website is encrypted using the latest secure sockets layer (SSL) technology. Payment details you enter on our website are processed by a third-party provider (Stripe, Inc). We are a PCI compliant merchant and all payments are processed securely using the latest SSL encryption protocols. We never store your credit card details.
Where is my data stored?
We take the privacy of our users very seriously and take all steps reasonably necessary to store your details safely and securely. Your data is stored on our dedicated, secure database server provided by Rackspace in the UK.
What data do you store?
We store information regarding your subscriptions, past purchases and number of CPD points collected with us. Our registered users can access and edit this information via the “My Account” section of the website when logged in. When you complete learning courses or make a purchase on our website ask you for additional information including your name, billing address, phone number, email address and credit card information. We use this information to process your order and, if any questions should arise, to contact you about your order. All details are collected and transferred using secure methods. We never store credit card details.
Who do you share my data with?
Unless you have opted in to receive marketing emails from third party companies, we do not share your data with individuals or other companies unconnected with the provision of Perceptive and Visionstryt’s activities, unless required to do so by law. We do sometimes share data with companies who help provide our services. For example, we may share your address or email address with companies who process data or send mail or email on our behalf. This data is shared solely to help us provide our services on a per-project basis and you will never hear from those companies directly.
Additional information
There may be times when we request additional information from you, for example when we conduct a survey. When additional information is requested, we will try to let you know at the time of collection how we intend to use it. We do our best to maintain the accuracy of any personal information you do supply to us. You can help Perceptive update and maintain the accuracy of any personal information you supply by using the “My Account” section of the website or by notifying us of any changes to your professional number, address, title, phone number or e-mail address.

This request should be made in writing and we may make a reasonable charge to cover our costs in providing this information.
