In the UK alone, 600,000 people have glaucoma. In recent years, there have been several improvements in the diagnosis and risk stratification of glaucoma, and personalised treatments. In addition, new ways of working, such as virtual clinics, have started to become more common. 

This lecture will consider some of the latest developments including the use of imaging technology to improve glaucoma detection and reduce false positives. The latest treatments will also be discussed, including preservative free medications, selective laser trabeculoplasty and minimally invasive surgical options.
